Shipping & Delivery

We know you want your goodies as quickly as possible once you’ve placed an order, so we aim to get your delivery to you within 1 to 3 working days. The following chart shows where, how long it takes and how much it costs to get your order.

We use Royal Mail UK (International signed-for Small Packets) for Standard deliveries and either Royal Mail Special Delivery or a courier such as DHL will be used for Express deliveries. This does mean your delivery will have to be made to somewhere it can be signed for because this is the securest way of ensuring you receive your order. If no-one is available to take your delivery, Royal Mail or the courier service will leave you a card advising that they were unable to deliver your parcel. There will be a phone number for you to arrange a more convenient delivery day or if Royal Mail, which Collection Office your parcel is being held.
 
Your order will only be shipped once payment and delivery details have been approved.

 

No quibble returns

We have a no quibble return policy, meaning you can return any goods for whatever reason, be it the wrong size, wrong shape, poor fit or quality or just not what you expected. It is absolutely essential to us that you are a happy customer so if you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly exchange it or refund the cost of the item. All we ask is that you return the goods to us within 14 days and we must insist that in order to qualify for a refund, all items must be returned to us in perfect condition, unworn and with all labels still attached.

Please send returns with your copy invoice, giving a brief reason for return and details of exchange if required. Remember, the return can be for any reason, we just use this information to improve our service wherever possible. Once we receive your return, we will do a quality control check and then either send out your exchange subject to availability, or process a full refund for the cost of the goods. Email hello@edgykid.com if you want to check stock availability for exchanges and we will reserve the item for you if available. If any additional payment is required for your exchange item, this will be processed before despatch.

We require sale items to be returned within 7 days of receipt to qualify for a refund. Sale items returned after this period will qualify for a credit note or exchange only.

We recommend that you send returns by recorded delivery. Alternatively, request a Certificate of Posting when sending returns to make sure you have proof in case of packages lost in the post.

Unfortunately, we cannot stretch to the grand gesture of refunding delivery charges for unwanted items, nor can we cover the cost of returning unwanted items.  If an exchange has been requested then we will post this to you free of charge.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Privacy Policy

We totally respect the privacy rights of our visitors and customers and are committed to protecting them. We will only use the information that we collect about you in compliance with the Data Protection Act. We will never disclose your personal or order details to any other company, other than to fulfil the delivery of your order, or carrying out credit and other security checks for fraud detection or fraud prevention  purposes.
 
Information required from you is solely for the purpose of order process and fulfilment. You will be asked to provide your name, email address, billing address, delivery address, phone number and credit or debit card details. All communication regarding the status of your order will be sent by email. Your telephone number may be given to our courier for delivery services if appropriate.
 
We understand the requirement to feel secure in your online shopping experience and have adopted measures using our best endeavours to ensure this is possible. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which encrypts data before it is sent to protect it from unauthorised use. Credit card details are not held anywhere on our site or systems and details are processed directly by our trusted Payment Partner, Sagepay.

 

Marketing

If you have made a purchase from our boutique or signed up to edgymail, we may update you of our latest products, news and promotional offers via e-mail or post. We will never share these details with third parties.

 

Cookies

We use cookies to help us enhance your shopping experience and improve our services and website facilities. Cookies are stored on your computer’s hard drive by your web browser which tracks your movements within websites. You can change the settings of your browser to prevent automatic acceptance of cookies. If you choose not to accept cookies, most features of our site can still be used, including the ability to make a purchase.

 

Research

We do collate statistical information about site traffic, sales and other commercial information which we may pass on to trusted third parties but these statistics do not contain any personal information given by our visitors or customers. We may also use this information for our own internal market research activities and to improve our services.

If you are unable to change any of your personal details via ‘My account’ then again, please email us at hello@edgykid.com giving us some detail of the problem. We will endeavour to respond to all your queries within 24 hours and resolve any complaints you may have.

Ordering

Ordering from EdgyKid is a simple process and easy to use.  When you are browsing our products and find something you wish to purchase, just choose the size you want from the drop down menu of available sizes, then simply add the number you want in the quantity box and click on add to basket. At this stage you can see everything in your basket and have the option to review and amend anything before either continuing your shopping or proceeding to checkout. If you have a promotional code, you should enter it in the Discount Codes box and click on apply coupon to see your revised total.

 

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Once you have finished your shopping expedition and ready to checkout, click on my basket in the top right corner of the screen or on the checkout button in the EdgyMe box. If you are an existing EdgyKid customer, please enter your username and password and click on login. If you are a new EdgyKid visitor, please register your details. Registering will make it easier to place orders in the future and you will have the opportunity to receive promotional emails offering discounts, special offers and news about new stock arrivals. You will be guided through the registration process in a few simple steps. If you choose not to register, you can always checkout as a guest.

 

Any promotional discount codes need to be applied when viewing basket and before proceeding to checkout.
 
Once logged in you can review your order, confirm your delivery choice and proceed to payment. All prices are in GBP Sterling and can be paid for by debit or credit card. Enter your payment details as prompted and click on confirm order. All card details are processed directly by our Payment Partner, Sagepay. For your security we do not hold any card details anywhere on our site or systems. For more information, please see our Security & Privacy Policy.
 
Once you’ve completed your order, you should see a message confirming your order has been placed and is being processed. An email confirmation will also be sent to your registered email address and once goods have been despatched, you will receive another email confirming despatch.

Loyalty Card Conditions

  • Edgy Kid reserves the right to prevent discount codes being used against specific products and withdraw the offer at any time without prior notice.
  • Use of the Loyalty Card is non transferrable.
  • Only one discount code may be used per order.
  • The Loyalty Card has no cash value.
  • The Loyalty Card must be presented before payment in store and discount codes cannot be applied later.
  • If ordering online, promotional code supplied must be applied at checkout and cannot be applied later.
  • Loyalty Card discount codes cannot to be used in conjunction with any other offer, discounts or exchanges.
  • Discount codes are applied to the price of the item excluding VAT and delivery charges.
  • The Loyalty Card can be withdrawn at our discretion.
